Walter Royden Lovett, wlio last week shot his wife, a barmaid employed m the Cafe Italian, in Bond street, was to-day committed for trial on a charge of murder. Two con«tal>les deposed that two ■days before the tragedy Lovett told them lie fond trouble with his wife over her meetings with a Frenchman ■and if anything happened they would know about it.
