A Wy named Bacon, of RolInnd's I'lnins, near Port Maccipiarrie, was given some detonators by another lad, who found them. Bacon's mother was igumrant of their nature, and told him to throw them awny. He threw them in the. kitchen fire. A terrific explosion resulted, and. the lad was literally blown to pieces.
