STOCK SALE AT WAIKANAE,
By telegraph from Waikanae the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency reoorts having held its usual monthly sale at Waikanae yesterday, When there was a. full ' yarding. Nearly every lot was cleared at satisfactory prices. The company quotes:— Fat wethers, up to 15s; breeding ewes, mixed ages, 9s lOd; shorn lambs, mixed sexes, 7s 9d; fat, and forward wethers, 13s 6d; old breeding ewes, Gs; store woolly lambs, 5s lid; springing heifers, £3 6s to £3 10s; Romney rams, 2-tooth, up to 2gs.
