HOSPITAL BOARD ELECTIONS.
POLLING TO-DAY. Polling in connection. with 111': election of representatives fortius Horowlienua County and Levin Borough-on the District of Wellington Hospital and Charitlble Aid lionrd is talcing place to-day, and the polling booths will remain open from 9 a.m. to 0 p.m. The voting stations are situated at the Hall, Tokomaru; Hank of N.S.W., Shannon; the School, Koputarua ; County Office, Levin ; the Institute, Ohau; the Hall, Manakau ; Road Hoard office, Otaki; the School, Te Horo; Cooperative store," Waikanae. There are 900 electors on the borough roll and 1000 on the county roll, but a number <. these are absentees. The Returning Officer (Mill. E. Lodge) expects that he will receive this evening the results of the. polling in Shannon, Koputarua, Oiliau, Ma.nakau, Te Horn, and _ possibly Waikanae. Immediately upwa their arrival they will be posted outside the x Council offices, Levin. The remaining results are not expected until to-morrow.
