The Colonial Goyernmeht gun boat St. Kilda took: her departure for Poverty Bay on Wednesday last with about 210 friendly • natives, '.under command, of Captain Kphb edy, of No,-2 Company Napier Militia. The following-chiefs also went down in 'thel-StP KildaTarehn, MvH.R., Behata, Karaitiaha, and ‘Paora Kai whhtu. The Contingent ; were marcL ed to the Spit in two divisions j one' about half-an-hour later ;than the other, — each division being preceded by the .Napier. Brass.
