The Late Mr W. O’Neil* the Irish Comedian.— We have to record :the .death of Mr William. O’Neil, the Irish comedian, once welTkrioWn on the Melbourne stage. Mr l O’Neil Lad for, some eighteen months been in a very low state of health, and had not the last twelve - months: been Able to follow his profession. -. His last appearance oh the stage was in New Zealand, whence he. returned to Melbo ~rne about nine months ago. . Since that he has been gradually failing in;;health, and died at 'ah early: hour this morning,; at his residence in Eaitue-atreet, Fitzvo'y. His.age was about thirty-one years.—Sydney Mail.
