DEATH OF MR CROSBIE WARD.
Referring to the death -of Mr Crosbie , Ward—a telegram of which . appears ; elsewhere —the Lyttelton Times has the following— *■ The people of New Zealand' will share in the feeling of profound; sorrow with which we an--nounce the death of M.r Crosbie Ward.. . The telegram which-brings the news * was transmitted from London more than three weeks after thei departure of the mail which has now Arrived in the colony. ■ The date of the death is - not mentioned; and in ignorance of all particulars .we .'must^:;supppse ; ithat''!Mr, Ward has succumbed: to the disease ; under whibh;he ffias been some years.” r; f■
