Missing. —Captain Weston, a gentleman well known throughput Auckland, has been for some three weeks past missing, under circumstances that have given rise to considerable uneasiness as to his safety. His wife and family who reside'in Auckland, have received no tidings of him during that period, and in conjunction with his friends are anxiously endeavouring to gain some, clue as to his fate. The following description has been furnished to the police authorities Age, about thirty-two; height, five feet ; ten inches; dark brown, hair, whiskers -and moustache, pale complexion, upright’ genteel figure, quick elastic step. Dress—white hat, black coat, trousers. He came to Auckland, we believe, about four years ago in the ship Golden Fleece, from Melbourne. We may mention that he was reputed to have been - the Times New Zealand correspondent, during the late war, and to have, written for the Comb-ill Magazine.
