WAIROA.
By the ‘ Mahia,’ Capt. Baxter, which arrived on Thursday last, from W"airoa, we have intelligence up to the previous day. There is. not much news of importance.' The natives are quiet, aud are reported to be engaged in industrial pursuits. The military settlera are on their land, and are busy fencing in, &e. Ou the whole,; the men seem very well satisfied with their newly-acquired property./ The bar is reported good, but how long it will remain so is doubtful, it being so liable to ohange.
