THE GREATEST SUCCESS OP THE AGE.

No hobe Cod Liter Oil. — Syrup of lodized Horseradish, prepared by Giumault & Co., Chemists, Paris, —According to the certificates of’ the. physicians ;of the Paris Hospitals detailed in the prospectus, and- with the approbation of several Academies, this Syrup is employed with the greatest success in .place of Cod Liver Oil, to which it is really superior. It cures diseases of the chest- scrofula, lymphatic disorders, green sickness, muscular atony, and loss of appetite, it regenerates- the. constitution by purifying the blood, and is, iu a word, the most powerful depurative known. It never fatiguesthe stomach and .bowels like the lodide of Iron, und the lodide of Pqtassium, and,is administered with the greatest- efficacy to young children subject to humors, or obstruction of the glands. Dr C-azenaye 01 3t Louis Hospital, Paris, recommends it particularly in cutaneous diseases, con jointly with the pills that bear his name.
’ Diseases or the Chest.— Syrup of Hypophosphite of Lime, manufactured by Ujrihai|lt & Co., Chemists., ibis new medicine,' delicious 'to the palate, is a sovereign remedy for coughs, colds, irritation of the lungs, and is also an excellent remedy in cases of consumption. Under its influence, the cough abates, nocturnal perspirations cease, and the patient rapidly recovers health and flesh.
: Indigestion or Dyspepsia.— Elixir of Pepsine', prepared by Grimaukt & Co., Chemists. ’’Pepsinels the gastric juice itself, or rather the digestive principle purified, which digests food in the stomach. When from various- causes the supply.-.0.i----the digestive fluid is too small, the in evitable consequences are bad digestion, gastritis, gastralgia, inflammation of the mucous coats of the stomach and bowels, heartburn, ancemia, loss of strength, and in females general derangement. The Eiixir of. Pepsine, which is sanctioned bv- the-approbation of the Paris Academ} of. Medicine, speedily cures ail such diseases, aud prevents vomiting during preg nancy. • ‘
No hore Poverty op the Blood, &c. —Phosphate of Iron.—De Leras, Apothecary, Doctor of (Science. —This new ferruginous medicine contains tho elements ol the-bones and. blood,.and iron in a liquid state. From observations made iu the Paris Hospitals and detailejl iu the prospectus, it is superior to ferruginous pills, lactate" of' iron; iron reduced-by hydrogen, pills and syrup of the iodide of iron, and cures rapidly stomach complaints, painful digestion, poverty of the blood, loss ol strength: and appetite, a n .d the . diseases incident to females. It is the best adjunct to Cod-fliver Oii/ and the best preserver ol health in tropical climates.
No hore Copaiba or Cubebs.— Capsules of Matieo Vegelalis ; also Liquid Extract of Matieo. —These ’elegant preparations effect rapid and extraordinary cures ol recent, and old; and severe, cases of .disease. They-aro used in all the Hospitals of Baris by ths celebrated Dr Iticord,, aud,are found greatly superior to all- preparations oi Copaiba, Cubebs, &c., and Mineral Remedies. Tlse Liquid Extract is used in recent eases, and the Capsules in the more chronic; and-where.alL other. Medicines have, failed, these, preparations _ will effect a cure.
