I, JOSEPH RHODES, Deputy-Superin-tendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, Do hereby Proclaim and Notify that the Lands described in the annexed Schedule will be open for public selection under the Regulations of the 4th day of March, 1853, and the additional Land Regulations of the 15th February, 1855, at the Land Office, Napier,Son and after Wednesday, the 12th of October, 18G7. Dated this first day of August, in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven. JOSEPH RHODES, Deputy-Superintendent. SCHEDULE Of portion of the Kopuawhara Block, adjoining the Nuhaka Block. 4633 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North by latitude 39 deg. South, the Northern boundary of the Province of Hawke’s Bay; towards the East by the Kopuawharastream, native land and the -sea; towards the South by the sea and the Nuhaka Block; and towards the West by I the IS uhaka Block.

I, JOSEPH RHODES, Deputy-Superin-tendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby proclaim and notify that at 12 o’clock at noon on WEDNESDAY, the 25th of September next,, in the Crown Hands Office, at Napier, the Commissioner of Crown Lands will offer to public competition, under the provisions of the Land Regulations now in force in this Province. Town Sections, — Napier, White Road Clive, and Sections in Village of Wallingford Suburban Sections, — Porangahau, Awatoto, near Tareha’s Bridge, West Clive Agricultural Sections, — Betweeu Porahgahau and Blackhead And Rural Sections, — Whangawehi No. 2, Mahia That are referred to in the Schedules hereunto annexed, and on that upset price mentioned therein. If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the public service to reserve from sale either of the sections specified in the said Schedules, or to vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorised to do so.
