Electoral.—Two seats are now vacant £n the Provincial Council, both for the Town of Napier. ■ The nomination for one, in lieu of Donald M‘Lean Esq., whote seat has been vacated by his acceptance of the office of Superintendent, will take place bn Wednesday next, 12th inst., and the poll (if necessary) on the following day. The nomination" for the other, in lieu of T. *K. Newton, Esq., resigned, will take place on Thursday,. 20th. inst., aiid the poll (if necessary) on the following day.

He was thrown right over the horse’s head. and fell with great force upon the left side of his face, which presented a ghastly picture. Had he fallen upon his head, or bad (he hors© kicked; him; the result might' have been even worse. .
