Pout Chalmers Vigilance Association. —At a public meeting held ac Port Ciialmers on the 26th ult., in order to take into consideration the action of the Gone* ral Government in connection with the management of the goldfields, it was resolved that theinhaoitancs of Port Chalmers'' form themselves into an Association to, be called “ The Port Cha mars Vigilonce Association,” for the protection of their poli- V ? tical liberties, in connection with the Otago Association, and any others that may be formed in ‘the Province .of Otagofar that purpose. * ‘
