/The election .of .members to serve in the new Provincial Council are now fairly over, and the returns are complete. At the time of our last notice the elections for four districts had ; not come off, the results of whichi we now append:— For Waipukurau, C. ' Lambert, Esq., has been returned ; for ' Clive, Joseph Rhodes, Esq.-; an&Porangaliau, J. D. ; Ormond, Esq.; and fbr Hampden, John A’Deane, Esq. A took place at the latter piace, —Mr Harding opposing Mr A’Deane; and being worsted by four votes.
