NOTICE! In consequent of the imposition of the Postal rate on Newspapers, the Publisher of the TIMES has resolved upon commencing- the new year by the re-issue of the WEEKLY EDITION of the TIMES, which plan, it will be remembered, was adopted during the period in which a postal rate was formerly charged. ‘ This will reduce the Postal Tax by: one-half. * And,-farther, he would intimate to his Priends and Subscribers that in all, owes s .where fire-payment of the Subscription is made, the Postal Tax will be borne by the Proprietor, and not charged.—As, however, the pur-1 chase of stamps involves a large outlay of ready cash,'the above cannot appty to ’ othe]cfthan prepaid subscriptions.
