—■- —• J®“rMPpBTANT NOTICE! .g# In consequence of the imposition, of the Postal rate oh J Newspapers, the Publisher of the TIMES has resolved upon'’commencing the new year by the re-issue of the WEEKLY EDITION of the TIMES, which, plan, it will be remembered, was adopted during the period in which a postal rate was formerly charged. This will reduce the Postal Tax by one-half. And, further, he would intimate to his Friends and. Subscribers that in all cases .where pre-payment of the Subscription is i made, the Postal Tax will be borne by. the Proprietor, and hot charged. - As, however, the purchase of stamps involves a large outlay of ready cash; the above-cannot apply ; to other than prepaid subscriptions; All such will observe that the postage of Is id per quarter will be added to the amount of their accounts when rendered. Subscribers will oblige by remitting promptly* and all subscriptions received during the present Month will be considered as in advance, and promptly acknowledged. ’ •
