N.Z. MINISTERS AT HOME
Mr. Forbes at Cambridge (Received 8, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, June 7. At the invitation of Lord Rutherford, the Rt. Hon. G. AV. Forbes and Mrs. Forbes inspected the low-temper-ature research station at Cambridge and saw experiments being conducted with the object of retaining the bloom on chilled beef. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and Mrs. Coates are spending the week-end as guests of Sir Philip Cunliffe-Listcr in Yorkshire.
The famous Roman Catholic church at Nagolsheim, Wurtemburg, has been burnt to the ground after being struck by lightning.
The will of the late Mr William Handy side, Invercargill, has been sworn for probate as not exceeding £90,000. Bequests of. £5OO each are left to the Nightcaps Presbyterian Ohurch choir fund, St. John’s Church (Invercargill), Dr. Barnardo’s Home (London) and the New Zealand branch of cancer research.—Press Assn.
