BRIDEGROOM SUICIDES

Found Dead in Garage BULLET WOUND IN HEAD (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 8. At the inquest into the death of Andrew Sim McLay, a station manager, a verdict of suicide wag returned. Mr McLay was found dead in a garage at Dallmgton on May 9, two days before the day of his marriage. The cause was a bullet wound in the head. Evidence was given that the deceased had been rational beforehand, staying at his fiancee’s home. He had no financial worries, and was in good health. No explanation could be offered of his action. He had been employed at Mt. Stewart, Waiau.
