UNNECESSARY RISKS. One morning recently a business man on attempting to start his car found that after turning the engine over a few times, his battery, to his surprise, was completely run down. After a while he became desperate, and produced the starting handle. Unfortunately, in his hurry he forgot to letard the spark, and after a few attempts tho engine back-fired and fractured his arm. He has now replaced his battery with a Vesta and is feeling quite happy, despite the fact that he lias lost his starting handle. C. TORR, LTD., 391 Karamr Road, Hastings.
