KITCHEN TEA
A very enjoyable “kitchen tea” was given on Wednesday by Mrs Je"iikinson and Mrs Burton for Miss Flo Pratt, whose marriage takes place this month, a number of guests being present, and many who could not come sent apologies, and their little gifts. A large number of useful kitchen utensils were received, and by a lucky chance there were no duplicates The afternoon tea was held at Mrs Jenkinson’s bouse, and the rooms were very beautifully decorated with blue and pink flowers. No trouble had been spared to make the party a happy one, and all present thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Competitions were won by Mrs T. B. McNeil, Mrs Pratt, and Miss Gray. Mrs Jenkinson was attired in a pretty frock of fuschia crepe-de-chine. with effective lace relief. Mrs Burton was in a floral lavender cre-de-chine.
Miss Flo Pratt, tho guest of honhour. wore an American model frock of powder-blue georgette heavily beaded
Mrs Pratt looked smart in a floral navy blue jersey silk dress.
