No, 1; peaches. 8s to Ils lOd, No. 2; loganberries. 2s 6d chip: tomatoes, hothouse, lOd to Is 4d; strawberies, Is 3d to Is lljd ch,n: gooseberries, 3s 6d to 7s box: cherries, 9s to 14s box. Vegetables: New potatoes. 12e 6d to 21s Gd bag; cauliflower. 8s to 13s 6d sack; beans. IOJd per lb; neas. 8s to 22s bag; cucumbers, outdoor. 4s to 6s dozen; lettuce. 3s to 8s 6d case. DAIRY PRODUCE. Dalgety and Co. have received the following cable from their head office London, dated Bth December, 1927 :— Butter: Market slow. Quotations, Danish 196/- to 198/- per cwt; New Zealand finest salted, 166/- to 170/per cwt; Australian, finest unsalted, 180/-, salted 166/- to 168/- per cwt. Cheese: Market: New Zealand slow ; Canadian steady. Quotations: New Zealand white and coloured, 92/to 94/-: Canadian spot, white and coloured, 98/- to 102/-. FROZEN MEAT MARKET. Frozen meat unchanged except chilled beef which is id more per pound. WOOL SALES. The following cable has been received bv Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., Napier, from their head office, London, dated Bth December, 1927: — No wool sales have been held today owing to thick fog. Sales close 13th inst. if no further interruptions. Market, strong.
