Mr. R.iwe, president of the A.T.C., states >he sole reason >s that broadcasting gives too much encouragement k> the small country bookmaker. The police bad mnde no representations to his club re broadcasting. Mr. Stringer, director of IYA, when questioned preferred to make no statement, explaining it was likely that one would be issued by hi s head office.—(Press Association.)
