Bowie and C 0.., report as follows:— A good enquiry exists for choice lines of all new season’s fruit, while apples and pears continue in good demand. with fancy grade lines haring the best enquiry. Nelson and Huttgrown tomatoes are 'now increasing in ouantities, and values hare a,tercd accordingly. Recent values are as follows:— Pears: Winter Cole, choice 15s to L6s, others 11s to 14s; Winter Neiis, choice 12s to 13s, others 9s to Ils.
Lemons: New Zealand-grown 16s to 17s. others 13s to 14s. Apples: Delicious, fancy 14s to 15s. others 10s to 12s: Sturmers, fancy 12s to 14s. others 9s to 10s; Doughertys. fancy 9s to 10s, others 7s ba to 8s; cooking, fancy 9s to 10s, others 7s to Bs. All at per bushel.
Cherries: Choice dessert 10s to 12s, others 7s to 8s per 101 b box. Gooseberries: Choice large 3s 6d to 4s. others 2s 6d to 3s 6d half case.
Strawberries: Choice Motueka 7d to 10J others 6d to 7d per punnet. Plums: Choice early Bronze "s t to 7s. others 4s to ss; choice Cherry 4s 6d to 6s 6d others 3s 6d to 4s per half case.
