BUSINESS MISSION

ME BEALE FOB ENGLAND. BRITISH INDUSTRIES FAIR. Mr L. B. Beale, His Majesty's Trade Commissioner in New Zealand is leaving for England shortly to attend the British Industries Fair m Loudon and Birmingham in February, and while Homo he will take the opportunity of visiting as many factories and workshops as possible to gain further first-hand information of British industries and trade. During his last visit to the Old Country he ■went through no few than 400 factories. Me Beale says that he has received a record number of inquiries from business mon who are timing their annual visit to England to enable them to attend tho industries Fair, and it seems likely that. New Zealand will be much better represented, from tho buying point of view, then ever before. The Fair is growing every year, and in the London section alone there will be at least seven miles of stand frontage. The public is not admitted, the Fair being confined strictly to business circles. Mr Beale, who is attached to tho Department of Overseas Trade in Whitehall, will be pleased to see any New Zealand business men in London and advance information may be obtained at his office in Wellington. He hopes to sail from Auckland by the Aorangi on December 20, or, failing that, by the Tahiti from' Wellington on January 3.
