MAORI MELODY

CONCERT ON SATURDAY

Maori music is beautiful, Maori voices are pleasant, and Maori dances graceful; so the T.P.M. Maori entertainers, who give a concert in the Assembly Hall on Saturday are sure to be given a great reception by the audience. The company is large, consisting of 24 artists and the orchestra of 12 members. The Maori String Band will be a feature of the entertainment though one of the most pleasing is sure to be the poi dances by the girls. The object of the concert is an excellent one. Ngaruawahia pa is in need of a hospital for Maoris and all funds will be devoted to that object. The necessity is very great and nil friends of the Maori should be n> xious to help the attainment of this idea. The party is visiting other districts during the week and their itinerary is given in the advertisment.
