Soldiers are patrolling the the Nagyvarad streets fol-» lowing serious riots in which students from Jassy,, Bucharest, destroyed the editorial offices and printing presses of Hungarian newspapers and private residences, including the Chief Rabbi’s. They fatally stabbed a Hungarian actor and seriously wounded an hotel proprietor. Citizens are remaining indoors and shops are shut. Nagyvarad, which was formerly in Hungary, is now annexed by Rumania.—(A.P.A. and “Sun” cable.)
