IN BANKRUPTCY
ESTATE OF JOHN COMER. In the bankrupt estate of John Comer, engineer, of Napier, there is a deficiency of £BO, 11/9, the whole amount being owing to unsecured creditors. The estate is without any assets. Bankrupt, in his personal statement, stated that before coming to Napner he resided at Hamilton, where his wife suffered a long illness, having to undergo several operations. Practically all his earnings went in paying doctors’ bills, with the result that he got behind in his accounts. Owing to his wife’s continued illhealth he was unable, at the present time, to pay his living expenses and at the same time pay his debts. The unsecured creditors are:— Hamilton: Drs. Joseph and Spencer £26 18/6, Waikato Hospital Board £l4 12/-, Hause and Daking £9 10/6, Norman & Clark, £4 1/-, R. W. Forster £1 4/3, Manning & Co. £1 2/6, C. Buston £2 10/-, L. W, Flavill £1 12/6, C. H. Hollaway £6 5/6. , Napier: H.B. Hospital Board, £l2 15/-.
