“SAN” SHOP

OOMFORTS FOR PUKEORA. ’Xma s will be here soon again and thoughts must turn to the soldiers who are still suffering the effects of the war. The Hawke’s Bay Sanatorium calls for sympathy and help to brighten the lives of those who gave so much for us and for W’hom we can do so little in return. Just a few kind thoughts help perhaps to bring them a few hours of pleasure— to brighten Christmas Day and show that “They are ever in our memories.” Fot such help the Red Cross and Hastings workers are holding their annual “shop” in Hastings next Saturday, in Market street, and any gift or contribution of fruit or flower's will be gratefully received and sent on to Pulraor.-.. The orgeniac s are Mrs Tosswill. Mrs Tuohy, Mrs Lowry and others.
