The public reserves in Russell street are now a blaze of beautiful colours. The Women’s Rest grounds look particularly enticing with their brilliant blooms and elegantly set-out sward. Some very nice examples ot carpet bedding are to be seen amongst the plots, including artistic patternings, and a bedding plan, in which the word “Rest” is shown in flowers, and which when the plants bloom and grow- together, will present quite an impressive appearance.
