LITVINOFF’S PARTING WORDS. (Received 7. 11.40 a.m.) Geneva, December 6. “The visit was quite satisfactory, and the end just as I expected. I have seen the Polish delegate, M. Zaliski, and the Lithuanian Premier, M. Valdamaras. and I am now sure they will avert war. It was tbe right step for me to oome. I hope to see Sir Austen Chamberlain when I revisit Geneva in February and March for the disarmament meeting.” Thus spoke Litvinoff on departing for Moscow,—(A. and N.Z.)
