"THE CHEVROLET GANG”

SERIES OF CHARGES. ACCUSED FURTHER REMANDED Dunedin, December 7. The five adult members of “The Chevrolet Gang,” the youths concerned in the conversion of motorcars and other offences, were further remanded to Monday. The Chief Detective stated there were three informations for arson where valuable property was destroyed; six for breaking and entering, and four for breaking open letter boxes and stealing letters. Bail was granted all except the two who were most seriously involved in the indictable cases.
