The Commissioner of Police (Mr W. B. Mcllveney) has . announced for publication that tho parents of Gwendoline Ellen Searff, have written to the Police Department a letter of appreciation of their services in connection with the murder. It is stated that tho police left no stone unturned to unravel the mystery. “Please convey to tho men concerned our warm appreciation of the courteous "’ay they treated us at all times, moro especially Detective-Sergeants Young and Bickordike and Detectives Laugefcon and Thomas,” states the letter.
