At the wool sales 9828 bales were offered, of which 6382 were Australian and 3314 New Zealand. There was an excellent selection ol Merinos almost exclusively suitable for the Continent, and a. Rood selection of medium slipes. There was only An average lot of greasy crossbreds, principally fine. The market was very firm with strong Continental competition for all descriptions. New Zealand prices: Mana top 33jd. average 29Jd; HFC Diamond ton 40d. average 38d, Bradford is marking time.—fA. and N.Z.)
