NAPIER ASSOCIATION’S ARRANGEMENTS. Lovers of boxing will at last have an opportunity of seeing Johnny Leckie who has just turned down some great offers from Australia to fight there, as owing to the unexpected defection on account of illness of one of the proposed boxers, the Napier Association has secured Leckie tor its meeting on Wednesday next in the Napier Municipal Theatre. Leckie has won every contest to date by the short-cut route, but Carroll will not be taken too cheaply, having a decided advantage both in weight and reach. Many other fights that promise well will be staged and huge crowds ' are confidently aneiepated.
