... IMPROVEMENTS AT EPSOM.... ELECTRIC TOTE AND NEW MEMBERS’ STAND. Auckland, Nov. 30. The Auckland Trotting Club has decided to instal an electric totalisator and a new members’ stand at Alexandria Park, Epsom, the total cost not to exceed £40,000. A special committee consisting of Messrs. J. Rowe, C. J. Schnauer, T. Buxton, ami the club’s architect, Mr. N. Wade, was set up to make an inspection of such totalisators now in use in the North Island. It is expected that these improvements will be available for the Cup meeting in 1928.
