STORTFORD LODGE SALE. BIG ENTRY OF CATTLE. RISE IN VALUE. At Stortford Lodge saycyards today there was a big yarding of both fat and store cattle. Good quality fats were offered and prices were very firm in spite of the numbers yarded. Bullocks, when prime, brought in the neighbourhood of 32/6 per 100, while practically all lines were sold under the hammer with keen competition. Several lines of good store cattle were yarded and bidding for these was very keen throughout the sale. There was a comparatively email entry of fat sheep, but these sold wel| up to recent rate*. The store pens were practically empty, and the quality of those sheep ottered was not up to last week. Prices were on a par with recent sales, or perhaps slightly easier.
