MOTOR CYCLES COLLIDE

ON WAIFAWA—WAIPUKURAU ROAD. ONE RIDER SERIOUSLY INJUREP. A collision between two motor blkee occurred on the WaipawaWaipukurau road at about 8.30 last evening. Particulars so far gathered are that two young men named Mustchin and Crawley, both of Waipawa, were double-banking on one motor bicycle and another young man, Hyslop, of Otane, was on another motor cycle, both machines travelling towards Waipukurau. When opposite Mr. R. B. Wilson’s residence one bicycle ran into the other. The crash was heard by neighbours some distance away. Mustchin and Crawley are said to have escaped with slight injuries but Hyslop suffered severe head injuries and was rendered unconscious. Dr. South was called and after examination ordered his removal to the District Hospital.
