DRUNK IN CHARGE OF CAR
COLLIDED WITH A BUS. FINED £lO AND LICENSE SUSPENDED. (Per Press Association). Wellington, Nov. 30. When coming round a corner Charles Skelton, of Porirua, collided with a bus at Lower Hutt, completelywrecking the front of his car. No personal injuries were inflicted. Skelton was arrested and charged with being drunk while in charge of a motor. He was convicted and fined £lO, in default three months’ imprisonment, and his license was suspended till March, 1928.
