TOO TIRING
HOURS OF PLAY REVISED. CRICKETERS AND SUMMERTIME Christchurch, Nov. 28. Cricketers in Canterbury have decided that they can have too much even of a good thing. When the Summer Time Act was passed it was decided that all matches continue till 7.30 p.m. Players have found the long afternoons laborious and the late hour of stopping irksome, and this evening the Canterbury Association revised the hours of play.
In future senior A and senior B matches will cease at 7 p.m. and all other matches at 6.30 p.m,, with a compulsory afternoon tea adjournment. DACRE'S GOING UNOPPOSED. Christchurch, Nov. 28. The New Zealand Cricket Council decided to-night to offer no objection to Dacre playing for Gloucestershire during the next English season. Dacre having received an offer from Gloucestershire, which he accepted.
