RED TERRORISM
CHINESE REFUGEES’ STORit. REVOLTING MASSACRE. A GHASTLY PROCESSION. (Received 29, 8.5 a.m.) Hongkong, Nov, 28. Stories of Red terrorism in ite Hoifung district are confirmed by Bishop Vbltorta. the Vicar Apostolic, who states he has been informed by many reiugees reaching Hongkong that in tho small town of Cipseng over KOO were (nassacred apart from those in other places. A ghastly procession termed the Red Triumph carried the victims’ hc<ids from Cipseng to Hoifung. Amongst the victims was a very old and distinguished Chinese scholar who. before being slaughtered, wa s sul*3cted to torture, his nose being cut off and his ears pierced. Similar outrages were perpetrated at numerous localities, the particulars of which are revolting. Red spies everywhere are earning a dollar n day for their services, whilst murderers of anti-Communists secure a reward of 10 dollars for each victim. —(A, and N.Z.)
