LOCAL MOVEMENTS. Union Line. Waimea: Expected to leave Auckland at 4 p.m. to-day for Gisborne and Napier. Due at Napier on Friday morning and sails the same day tor Auckland direct, taking cargo up to H a.m. Kahika: This steamer is ahead of timetable and is expected to load at Dunedin to-day for Napier via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. Due at Napier early next week and sails for Gisborne, thence Dunedin, to load again via usual ports. Katoa: This steamer will load Napier cargo at Bluff towards the end of this week transhipping to the Kahika probably at Wellington. Kamotia; Expected to load at Greymouth to-morrow for Napier and Wellington. Waikawa: Expected to leave Dunedin to-morrow for Lyttelton and Napier. Due at Napier on Monday next and sails on completion of discharge for Nelson and New Plymouth. Waikawa: Providing sufficient inducement offers the steamer will load at Vancouver and San Francisco during January for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth and possibly Bluff. Sussex: Now loading at Calcutta and leaves there early net month for Rangoon to complete for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff Waihemo: Expected to arrive _at Penang on 7th December, completing at Singapore and Samarang for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Richardson and Co. Pakura: Leaves Wellington tonight for Napier and Gisborne. Due on Thursday. Parera: Leaves Wellington to-night for Waikokopu. Mako: Left last night for Waikokopu, East Coast Bays and Auckland. Awahou: Leaves Auckland to-night for Coast and Gisborne. Putiki: Left Westport last night for Gisborrne, Ruru; Loading wool at Port Awanui for Napier. Fanny and Kiritona: Lightering wool to the Port Darwin. Koutunui: Working southern coast. Koau; Leaves Gisborne to-night for Napier. Te Aroha: Left last night for Waikokopu. Tu Atu: Waiting to leave for Wairoa. Tangaroa: At wharf.
New Zealand Shipping Company. Remuera: Left Timaru at 9 p.m. yesterday for Wellington and Napier. Due at Napier on Friday morning to load for London and sails on completion for Gisborne and Auckland, from which port the steamer sails finally on 10tli December for Southampton. The steamer is expected to leave London on 16th February for Auckland, Wellington and Napier. Tongariro: Left Dunedin at 5 p.m. yesterday and is due at Napier at day light to-morrow to load for London. The steamer is expected to sail for Auckland to-morrow night, but will return to Napier about 12th December for further loading. Turakina: Expected to leave Auckland to-morrow night and is due at Napier on Friday morning_to_ load for London and West Coast (U.K,) Sails on completion of loading for Wanganui, Wellington and Lyttelton, sailing finally from the latter port about 15th December. Norfolk: Expected to load at Napier about 21st December and at Waikokopu about 28th December for London and West Coast (U.K.) Hororata: Expected to load at Napier about 12th January for New York, Halifax and London. Rimutaka: En route from London to Wellington. Due Wellington about 22nd December to land passengers, after which she proceeds to Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and Napier. Federal Steam Navigation Co. Westmoreland: Expected to leave Liverpool on 21st January for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The C. and D. Line. The Port Darwin is in the Roadstead loading frozen meat and wool for Home. She sails to-night for London, via Panama. Local agents Williams and Kettle, Ltd. Canadian Government Line. The Canadian Pioneer ib en route from Montreal for Napier, via other New Zealand ports, to discharge cargo from Canadian ports and to load for those ports She is due to arrive at Napier on November 28th and sails two days later for Auckland. The Canadian Scottish is to leave Montreal on January 25th with general cargo for New Zealand ports, including Napier Local agents: Murray, Roberts and Co. America-Australia Orient Line.
