CENTRAL HAWKE'S BAY. WAIPUKURAU v. EPARAIMA. At Waipukurau on Saturday, Waipukurau 0.8. played Eparaima. The latter had seven wickets down for 165 last week, and on Saturday added eight more, the total being 173. Monteith took his score to 51 not out. McKenzie took three wickets for two runs. Old Boys replied with 182 in the second innings (Gair 66, McCarthy 25), McKenzie 19, Hawland 18, ami Davidson 12). Bowling: Canning took three for 14 and Brierlv four for 47. « Eparaima, requiring 78 to win, made the total of 80 for the loss of seven wickets (Monteith 38, Johnston 16 and Brierly 12). Bowling: Guy three for 24 and Gair two for 18 did best. WAIPAWA v. WAIPUKURAU DISTRICT HIGH This match was played at Waipa.wa The former in the first innings made 40 and in the second 51 (Mackay 15 and Verran 12 not out) Southall took six wickets for 24 and Burkinshaw four for 29. Waipukurau High, in the first innings made 56 and in the second last two wickets for 36 (Burkinshaw not out 16. and Smales 15). Houghton tpok two. '.rickets for 16. Waipukurau thus won by eight wickets. OTANE v. WAIPAWA DISTRICT HIGH. This game was played at Otane. Waipawa High School in the first innings made 57 and in the second 57 (Petherigk (20) was the only double figure scorer. Ashley, six for 6, bowled best. Otane in the first innings made 94, and in the second lost three wickets for 21. Otane won by seven wickets.
