PARA RUBBER
HENRY FORD’S ENTERPRISE. IMMENSE PRODUCTION PREDICTED. (Received 29, 9.5 a.m.) New York, Nov. 27. Henry Ford announces that his company recently purchased 5,000,f>'.Hl acres from the Brazilian Government, situated on Biquabuba Plateau in the State of Para, in rich volcanic soil. He says that if the entire tract can be placed under production it will not only change the whole situation of the rubber industry, in the world, but will give Northern Brazil a tremendous agricultural and industrial impetus. Planting begins immediately and he expects in seven years there will ho and immense annual production.—(A. and N.Z.)
