“THE FRIVS’" CONCERT

Continuing their role of being ever ready to assist charity, the Napier Frivolity Minstrels staged an entertainment to a packed house in the Napier Municipal Theatre on Saturday for the purpose of assisting the Hawke’s Bay Children's Home. Variety and entertainment was what the gay minstrels strove for. and judging by the vociferous applause and mirth which greeted each effort, right well did they succeed. The “corner men” excelled in their funny sketches, burlesque scenes, and interludes, while their thrusts .-it items of burning local interest called forth prolonged merriment from the audience. The orchestra which bad a heavy evening's work, to get through, performed in a most capable manner, their overtures and accompaniments adding to the success of the evening.
