CONRAD MEMORIAL

RESTING PORCH, IN VILLAGE HALL. Bishopsboume (Eng.). Oct. 20. A memorial to Joseph Conrad, famous novelist, who died here, was unveiled. The memorial is a porch on the village hall, and will provide a resting place for villagers and wayfarers. A medallipa portrait of Conrad hangs from the porch.
