GIRL ATHLETES
NAPIER HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS RACES RUN YESTERDAY. The Nanier Girls’ High School held . their annual sports yesterday afternoon on McLean Park, many people interested in the school attending. The races were all contested in a fine snorting spirit, and the expedition with which the competitors were marshalled and started was a credit to the sports mistress, Miss Stone. From the visitors’ point of view the most spectacular event was the chariot race, the various teams making bright splashqs of colour as they c'areered around the arena.
