CHURCH NOTES.

The Rev. T. Keith Ewen will conduct to-morrow’s services at the Baptist Church. His morning topic will be “He Faileth Not.” and in the evening at 7.30. “What Lack I Yet.” Strangers are cordially invited. Tho subject of the address at the Orange Hall on Sunday night will bo, “The destiny of the British Empire as predicted by the prophets of God.” Tho Salvation Army Children Anniversary Services will bo held tomorrow at 11 a.m. t 3 and 7.30 p.m. Colonel Carmichael’ will conduct all services. Heai; 'the children sing The Rev. A. J. Seamer, assisted by tho Maori Mission Party, 'will conduct tho service at 7.30 to-morrow evening in the Hastings Methodist Church. The Maoris will sing a number of sacred pieces. The Rev. F. Copeland will preach at 11 a.m. The offerings for the day will be in aid of the Home and Maori Mission Fund. The services in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church to-morrow will be conducted bv Rev. D. J. Shaw. The subject of the evening address will be: “What Church Membership Stands For.” Anthems will be sung by the choir at both services and a special invitation is extended to strangers and to those who are not members of the church.
