CHRISTMAS COMPETITIONS
All readers of the Kiwis’ Corner are invited to take part in the Christmas Competitions, which are open to ill children between the ages of six and fourteen .years. The subjects are as follow:— Short Christmas Story (not fairy story); must be original and have a New Zealand setting. Not more than 400 words. Two prizes, one for boys, one for girls. 7/0 each. Open to boys apd cirls from 11 to 14 years. Special Christmas Essay: “What I Should Do If I Were Santa Claus.’’ Not more than 200 words; for bovs and girls from 6to 10 years. Two prizes, one for boys and one for girls of 5/- each.
