A “WHITE” TEA

FOR A BRIDE. A delightful tea was given for Miss Norma Creagh. a Napier bride-to-be. the hostesses being Miss Norma Giorgi and Miss Margaret Ebbett, who entertained their guests at Mrs Giorgi’s home in Willow Park road. The rooms were beautifuly decorated with large bowls of sweet peas artistically arranged with greenery. Miss Norma Giorgi was wearing a Victorian frock of floral georgette in unusual tones of blue and rosy-red while her co-hostess Miss Marjorie Ebbett was in a dainty georgette frock with spots, in tones of henna and blue. _ . Miss Norma Creagh looked charming in a chemille jumper suit oi-silver-grey and blue, and her small hat was of silver grey also. As the guests were invited to bring a “white” gift-, a verv attractive njle of useful articles resulted. There was a bridal coat-hanger and shoe trees of white satin with orange blossoms, also many very dainty linen handkerchiefs, guests towels, d’oyleys, trav cloths, china and a hand-worked teacosy were all included in the pretts collection. Competitions resulted in prizes be ing won bv Mrs Mason Waterworth and Miss M. Acheson. A delicious afternoon tea Was made doubly refresh! ig hv ices hein>i served beforehand which the guests verv much approbated.
