MAHORA CLUB. LAST NIGHT'S'CARNIVAL, A club carnival night was held in the Mahora baths last night in splendid weather. The improvements in the interior since last year are wonderful. The men’s dressing shed has been moved from the side to the southern end of the ground, and its place is taken by ample and comfortable seating accommodation, leaving space to spare at the hotthern end for the officials and competitors. A large number of, spectators were present last evening, and the seating was comfortably filled, while the events, which were run off without delay, showed some close finishes, which created quite a lot of excitement amongst the lookers-on.
